Fortunately for us, Paul through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit recorded and preserved how he addressed one such issue with none other than the Apostle Peter. His example gives us both a fair warning and a good example of how to address conflict and issues in our world today.

The church at Ephesus would have had first-hand experience with this image. So it’s no wonder that the Apostle Paul cleverly utilizes this familiar image to describe the spiritual armor with which God equips His children for spiritual battle. Try not to get caught up in the Roman armor; the REAL message is in the spiritual counterpart! That’s where this week’s message takes us!

As a reminder: By the November 17, 2020 Order of the Pennsylvania Secretary of Health: ... o Every individual, age two and older, in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania shall wear a face covering when indoors or in an enclosed space, where another person or persons who are not members of the individual’s household are present in the same space, irrespective of physical distance. o A business or a school entity must require that all people, including their employees, customers, teachers, students and visitors, wear a face covering and take reasonable steps to enforce the requirement. What does this mean to us? As we come together to worship: o Face coverings are required for every individual age two and older while in the church building. o Pews marked CLOSED are closed for social distancing. o If someone is unable to wear a face covering, please watch the pre-recorded service on YouTube or Facebook. o Individuals who are sick or have been exposed to COVID or have recently tested positive for COVID should stay home and following the appropriate medical and CDC guidelines.
