Registration for the 18th Annual Build a House...Build a Dream Virtual Contest is now open! 5th graders from across the Delaware Valley must create a 3D model dream home along with a 100-word description of the idea behind their design. Participants submit photos and videos of their models to be critiqued by a panel of judges for a chance to be in the top three! This week, the classes at West Chester Friends School made @chescohabitat part of their day of service for Martin Luther King Day. Students made bird feeders, painted flower pots, and made birdhouses for future Habitat homeowners! They also all signed 2x4s that will go into homes as we keep building. These students picked their project to help others all on their own! We thank them for their service and happy faces!

Today, we celebrate the life and legacy of Martin Luther King Jr. as a national day of service, a chance to empower individuals, strengthen communities and bridge barriers.
