WE NEED YOUR HELP! Our amazing Christmas elves decorated our tree in the Crawford Center yesterday. Those silly elves must have had too much hot cocoa because... they mixed up some art supplies with the ornaments! Can you help us undecorate our tree? Simply stop by the Crawford Center and take one of the art supplies that are decorating our tree. We have color pencils, crayons, and wooden art kits. Make sure you take a selfie and tag us so we know when to add more ornaments!

We are in the giving mood, over here at the Coop. We are missing all of our patrons and can’t wait to continue in person classes as soon as it’s safe to do so. In the interim, a generous donor has enabled us to provide art kits to some of ACV’s First Program Families. Thank you!

We are excited to announce that, thanks to a very generous donation, we were able to make 10 kits for our second round of Art Camp in a Box (Bag)! Hi Campers! It's Art Camp in a Box day 7! What does the fox say? Paint me! We were totally planning to do a video of this, but it was super long and boring. Besides, we know you know how to paint! Some helpful hints: ... Paint your background first! You can start with the sky it the grass. Start with your base color and after it's dry mix white and your base color to create a lighter color and add highlights. You can even add clouds to your sky if you want. When you paint your fox mix red and yellow to make orange. Paint your fox and then add a little red to make a darker orange to add some shadow areas to your fox. When painting the white areas of your fox, add a little black to make a light gray for shadows Wait until your painting is completely dry and then outline with black paint or a black sharpie if you want. Take your time and enjoy the process! Painting is fun! Make sure to share your art with us! We can't wait to see what you create.

I'm so sad that we will not be able to meet in person to do our Merry Moose-mas painting! This has been our most popular class for the past two years! I'm considering offering to go kits that would include the pre-drawn canvas, paint, paint brushes, full instructions, and a step-by-step video. Your mission is to use all your creativity and ingenuity to create an art pendulum. Feel free to use the tape, extra yarn from your weaving project, and other items around your house. I'm not going to lie this one is a little challenging but with some patience you will do great! remember to weave the yarn around your branch very tightly to keep it secure so that it's easy to weave on.
