Please share our name with your friends & family! Happy shopping!
What a great group of students. We miss all your smiling faces!!! If you, or someone you know, is interested in impacting the life of a child, please direct them to the center for our 2021-22 certified dyslexia practitioner training. It's a lot of time and work, and a big commitment, but you are giving a gift that keeps on giving by creating lifelong readers! Those smiles make it so worth it!
Are you behind on back-to-school shopping, or looking to start your holiday shopping early? You're in luck-- now you can shop AND support the Children's Dyslexia Center of Lancaster! On Wednesday 10/14 and Thursday 10/15, Boscov's is hosting its "Friends Helping Friends" event. Shoppers save 20% on all purchases, both in-store and online, on those 2 days, plus have the option to designate a charity (we hope you'll pick ours ) to receive 5% of the purchase price. Tell your friends, and happy shopping to you!

Summer reading.
Please share-- the CDCL gets $10 for each donation made. Blood is also desperately needed right now, so it's a win-win for everyone. Thank you for helping!
From an unknown source, and certainly what local schools and our center are preparing for. Just so everyone is aware: The next week or two starts a new chapter in public education. There is a huge learning curve that students, and teachers will be navigating together!!... As we embark on this thing called eLearning, I am asking my Facebook friends to refrain from publicly scrutinizing their children’s teachers/schools/district for the way they are teaching or the lessons they are assigning. Please offer grace to your child’s teacher and other school personnel. I promise that educating your children is still their #1 priority. They are about to navigate unchartered waters with little, to no prep time. This is a crisis, not a time to be playing armchair quarterback. They love our kids and will be doing their absolute best! Please copy & paste if you are a teacher ... or support teachers. And fellow educators, YOU’VE GOT THIS! I believe in you!
How’s everyone doing? What books have you been reading? Let us know by posting below! Please check your email for info about online tutoring! Be safe & well!
