The Chocolate Avenue Grill

As a coordinator of Cocoa Packs presents toy drive, I want to express my deepest gratitude to everyone who contributed to this year's event. Whether it was your time, your donations or just spreading the word, it all came together in the most beautiful display of generosity, hope and joy! When we started planing this year's event in July, we knew we had a few extra challenges this year. We quickly came up with two goals: 1. The distribution event would definitely take place ...(and be safe) no matter how we had to do it! 2. We needed to hit a home run and spread the most joy we possibly could because we all needed joy this year! Fishburn Church quickly stepped up and offered their facilities for the event with open arms. We are so grateful for their generosity and trust in allowing us in their building whenever we needed it. It was perfect. Now for the presents...we had reservations asking our business partners, organizations, churches and community to help. As we are well aware of here at The Grill, it's been a tough year. However everyone stepped up big time! Instead of hitting a home run, together we hit a GRAND SLAM!!!! I am still overwhelmed by the generosity of everyone. This is only our second year holding the event on our own as Cocoa Packs Presents and it was spectacular. We will continue to reflect on the heartwarming feeling of imagining all those kids opening their new, high-quality toys and the JOY that it brings their hearts. Breakfast with Santa will now be Santa then breakfast family style takeout! Bring the kids and enjoy Santa outside 2020 style! Pancakes sausage and drinks will be provided for takeout.
