I love decorating gingerbread houses, but they always just get rock hard and go uneaten so it seems like such a waste... so instead this year I made a gingerbread house CAKE! 4 layers of spice cake with cream cheese filling and vanilla brown sugar buttercream

Elephant in an African Sunset for my mom's birthday Possibly my favorite cake I've done all year! The cake is a 6 inch in American butter cream with a hand sculpted and painted fondant elephant. Time lapse video of the cake being done coming soon to IGTV, along with some of the elephant being painted though I don't have a whole video for that i also now have a tik tok they will be posted to as well, if you follow bitchy_baker ... The elephant was just plain white fondant and painting it to be as realistic as I can was a challenge but fun! Definitely will be doing more fondant painting in the future.
