Registration for the October SAT opens today! Sign up early to get your preference for testing location. October, November, December, and January SAT exams will retain the current format. The first "new" SAT will be offered in March.
If you took the June 6th SAT and haven't yet heard about the invalidation of Sections 8 and 9, read this note from College Board. Apparently, a typo caused inconsistencies with timing in these sections. College Board claims the scores will be just as reliable as any past SAT exam. June 6th exam test-takers, I'd love to hear your feedback on this-- are you happy or upset that two of your last few sections won't count??
Yet another student told me today that he's unable to fall asleep until after 1am! When I asked what he's doing before trying to go to sleep, he said, "checking social media, playing video games"... I hear this a lot! Here is some information about why devices can cause poor sleep habits, which in turn can cause under-performance in school.
