Remember, when you need exterior repairs done to your car, you normally have the choice between repair and replacement. While replacement might be more expensive, it's often the only way to restore your vehicle to its original appearance.

Pay attention to changes in your car's air-conditioning. If you detect an odd smell or it does not cool as you think it should, bring it in for a check. We will identify the problem and make recommendations about repairing it.

Why is warming a cold car up not as important as it used to be? Because most of today's cars have electronic fuel injection systems which adjust to a car's temperature - when the engine is cold, the fuel injectors will stay open longer to allow more fuel into the engine.

We recommend regular checking and maintenance of your power steering system. We will flush your system, cleaning it of old fluid and accumulated contaminants, and replace with new fluid.

Are pricier oil filters really worth the extra cost? Absolutely. Lower cost oil filters generally remove particles that are larger than 40 microns but higher priced filters which remove smaller particles can have a dramatic effect on reducing engine wear.

Did you know that brake fluid is one of the fluids in your car that actually absorbs moisture? Over time, the absorption of too much moisture can begin rotting your brake lines from the inside.

What is the number one sign which occurs when small amounts of contaminants find their way into the fuel supply? Smoke emitted from the tailpipes. The color and smell of the smoke can provide additional clues which may identify the cause of the contamination.

Some vehicle items that need to be changed when they're worn out include the air filter, spark plugs and cables, windshield wipers, headlights, blinkers, brake lights and engine timing belts. Some of these you'll need to have us do for you.

Antifreeze in your coolant is an extremely important part of preventative maintenance for your vehicle. It keeps the coolant from freezing, it keeps the system from corroding and it prevents overheating during summer months by raising the boiling temperature.

When a battery needs a jump-start, it can take hours of driving for the battery to fully recharge. To charge the battery to its full charge after a jump-start, a hook-up to a battery charger may be necessary.

Do you ever notice a grinding sound when your car just won't start? In many cases, this is a sign your alternator is in need of repair or replacement. A clicking sound, on the other hand, indicates a battery problem.
