We began a new series this Sunday looking at the first Christians as found in the book of Acts. The disciples had been witnesses to all that Jesus taught and did while he walked the earth. But they needed one more element to be fully equipped, the power of the Holy Spirit. Pastor Chris looks at the baptism of the Holy Spirit and how that empowers us to seek more of God and be better equipped for his calling on us.

It is common in our world to encounter suffering at the hands of oppressors. Pastor Chris looks at a heart-wrenching passage where evil rears its head, killing the innocent, to remain in power. This passage provides a model for how we wield our own power against Jesus, as well as gives hope for the places where we encounter suffering.

Let's start 2021 off right by joining together in reading Scripture. We have assembled a daily reading plan which will provide the opportunity for our church family to cover the same content together. Between January 3rd and Easter we will read the books of Acts, Genesis, and Romans. We will highlight the book of Acts in our weekly Sunday services.
