COVID-19 has given a needed jolt to how we care for seniors with dignity. Innovation and focus on caring for not just the person but the persons multi-faceted ecosystem is a must! This includes the people caring for and supporting the care recipient, the financial resources required, the continuing caregiver shortages, the safety in the home, the willingness to receive support, compliance, technology available, etc. If we are going to truly support people in their homes, we have many opportunities for improvement.
