Happy 1st birthday to pups born September 15, 2019. This pictures is of them about 10 days old. Honey is retired now and there won’t be any more pups in the future. It has been wonderful to meet all the families who made one of our pups a part of their family. Please reply with a picture of any of Honey’s pups from her four litters. Thanks.
She is magenta (formally hot pink in the old collars) having fun with her siblings. We introduced treats yesterday and all are huge fans. The hope is that they will all come back inside instead of catching and carrying one at a time back in.
This one was having a ball in the moist dirt. He actually looked clean later in the day.
The girls are helping keep an eye on the puppies and the girls also a magnet for the pups.
It’s my ball. No, it’s my ball! The pups are getting much more playful and fun to watch.
Anything new is worth exploring. Two more weeks and they will be in their new homes.
This is magenta collar that was formally hot pink. The original collars are no longer long enough as the puppies continue to grow. She is so sweet and enjoys her belly rubs.
Today was the trip to the Vet for general checkup and six week shots. All the pups are healthy and doing well. I took two boxes for the technicians to take two pups at a time, but two of them carried the crate in with all of them in. They were glad to be back home.
Green collar is having fun with a toy. Granddaughter is. Or interested.
Green collar getting his tummy rubbed. We work with all the pups so they trust us to hold them on their backs. At first they cry and squirm to get right side up.
Red collar getting his tummy rubbed.
Here are two of the four males. Red collar and green collar. Red has more butterscotch highlights than green.
Trying to show the three females. They are hot pink, pink and lavender colars. We started weaning them Thursday and they are doing well. This was the first time outside in the grass.
Three and a half weeks old and growing like weeds. Dark Navy collar is on the left side. Green collar is on the right. These are two of the four males. It looks like they are blowing raspberries at the picture taker.
