Sharing this because it brings up many good points and is educational. If you are thinking of getting a new pet especially doodles ( being they are extremely popular) please do your research on the breed or mix of breeds and the breeder FIRST. Ask to see the the parents, go over health testing of parents, look for skin problems, ear problems etc. of puppy and parents before bringing home a new puppy. Doodles are EXTREMELY high maintenance that matt easily, require daily brushing and combing, and monthly professional grooming that are costly. Many do not factor this in before hand.
