Next Tuesday aunt Amira will be preparing some yummy yummy ducks with an Egyptian specialty soup: Mulukhyah If you haven't tried Egypt's green soup then you are missing out big time Mulukhiyah is the national dish of Egypt, a soup made by cooking a large amount of finely chopped jute, which is a green leaf vegetable with a distinctive flavor. It is cooked with garlic, chicken (or duck soup as aunt Amira will do it this week) and some other spices and herbs to give it a rich and fulfilling taste.

This coming Tuesday aunt Amira is preparing a special dish for all of you meat lovers Buftek (Egyptian Style breaded thin steak, fried into golden perfection) or Baneh (breaded boneless chicken, marinated and fried in Egyptian traditional style), They will be served along with Makarona bel-Bachmel (oven backed pasta with a middle layer of grind meat, topped with creamy white Bachmel sauce and a touch of cheese).
