Cleveland Street Neighborhood Garden

On Wednesday, September 21 from 1:00-4:00, city officials will hear testimony regarding the importance of urban agriculture in Philadelphia. Clearing weeds at Mountain Breeze garden. They will dry in the sun and get mulched over to build up new soil.

Cleared the weeds from the front boxes of our new garden space on the 2100 block of mountain. We'll be putting in mint and perennial wild flowers tomorrow.

We made rope from paper mulberry bark. It supports over 50 pounds.
