Thanks to philly artblog for listing the Cloud Prize Exhibition as a pick for August with other amazing projects around town. Subscribe to their newsletter for great local art updates. We hope to see you August 12th at Little Berlin!!
It's fine, we'll open tomorrow - just a little late! (Like 9:30ish?)
ANDDDD.... we're BACK. See you in the morning! For real this time.
AND: No Cloud or Stormchaser today. Sorry everyone. With not being able to fully plug-in during the freeze last week: pipes + water pumps = frozen and not functioning. Thanks PGW.
Norris St. is still in repair... but we plan to open the Stormchaser (our vending VAN) tomorrow 1/11 and Tuesday 1/12, around the corner near Architecture. Just look for the lightening bolt on 13th St! (Shorter hours: 8am-3pm) Fingers crossed that Cloud will be back in place and running sometime Wednesday!
Alert: October Guest Brew! Any moment now we will be switching over to our October feature: Coava Coffee Roasters from Portland, OR. In the mix this week:... Espresso: Flor de ConcepciĆ³n, Guatemala, which is a washed process bean and according to Coava is "rich and chocolatey; Graham, Almond, and Raspberry notes". Decaf Nuevo Milenio, Colombia. Drip: Flor de ConcepciĆ³n. La Esperanza; El Salvador. A natural process bean. Rich and Fruity; plum fruit leather, roasted nuts, and butterscotch. Kilenso, Ethiopia. Natural Process (heirloom varietal). This one is great. It tastes like fruit! The farmers of this coffee follow organic practices, but are unable to afford the label. See you soon!
We're looking for a part-time barista/counter help person... end of Aug - mid Dec. Experience in the field preferred. Pass it on! Please contact us at: [email protected] with your resume.
