Courtney and her daughter Gabriella created a healthy, no-bake cookie recipe for this weeks Foodie Friday! Recipe and instructions are as follows: cup creamy peanut butter... cup honey (or maple syrup for vegan)! cup coconut oil measured in solid state 2 TBS unsweetened cocoa powder tsp sea salt 1 tsp vanilla 1 cup quick cooking oats Instructions: 1. Line a cookie sheet with waxed paper, set aside. 2. Combine peanut butter, honey/syrup, salt and coconut oil in a saucepan and heat, stirring continuously, until melted and well-combined. 3. Stir in vanilla and cocoa powder. 4. Add quick-cooking oats and mix well. 5. Drop 1 TBS portions of mixture onto your prepared baking sheet. Continue until you’ve used all your cookie mixture. 6. Let cool in the refrigerator or freezer until hardened. 7. Serve cold or frozen! 8. DEVOUR!! Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator! Let us know if you give this recipe a try! Utilizing your breath is a quick and easy way to improve your posture throughout the day. Inhale deeply while sitting or standing in place to bring yourself into a more lengthened and decompressed position.... A body at rest likes to slouch and round forward. The use of breath creates space and improves posture to oppose this.

We are Wednesday, Management Edition! Say hello to Herbie and Courtney! Herbie is our Sales and Operations Manager. He oversees the entire sales process and handles things like staffing and scheduling. Outside of the studio he likes to listen to music and podcasts, lift weights, play with his rabbits and dog and go camping with friends and family.... Courtney is our Marketing and Social Media Manager. She handles all of our marketing, social media and member engagement strategies. Her pride and joy is her daughter Gabriella! And she loves to workout, be outside in nature, and spend quality time with her family and friends. Make sure you say hello next time you see them in the studio!

Before class starts, begin tuning into your #breath Notice if you’re taking shallow breaths and begin deepening them for your practice. By focusing on your breathing, it allows you to clear your mind even further; it’s an active way to keep other thoughts from the day from creeping in.... If those thoughts do come in, merely observe them and let them pass through.
