Every August, my coach Sharon Brooks plans a wonderful show to raise money for the Ronald McDonald Charity House. Although this year has looked a little different as the audience watched solely through a screen, the reason why I participate remainsI skate for the sake of passion, the support I can give and receive, and to contribute to a great cause. Winter Olympics/Championships watch parties Wondering why Dunkin’ doesn’t sponsor us at practically every competition The excitement of seeing a teammate skate to a new song Finding familiar faces from other schools at competitions All the challenges we face together, that make our skating family stronger! Happy birthday to rising senior member and ice dance prodigy, Jessica Zhao! Jessica has shown exceptional commitment to our club beginning as early as her freshman year, and will continue her dedication as Co-President of Finance for the upcoming school year. The hard work has definitely paid off!

CMU FSC would like to wish a very happy birthday to Abigail Berger! Abigail is a rising sophomore studying Electrical and Computer Engineeringshe will also be pursuing the role of Event Chair on our Executive Board this coming year. Although only a member for one year and facing the obstacle of an injury early in the season, Abigail has displayed outstanding dedication and perseverance on and off the ice. Enjoy your day!
