When you sell your property to C&M Housing Solutions, we always provide as much information to you the seller, to ensure that the process goes as smoothly as it possibly can. During this process, we will be as available to you over the next few weeks so all of your questions and concerns can be taken care of. Once there is a contract in place between you and C&M Housing Solutions, that contract will be sent to our preferred title agency, Stewart Abstract. Stewart abstract h...as been a part of our process for over 5 years now. During this time, Carol (Our preferred title agent) will perform whats called a title search. The title search will show things like: Open mortgages, any expected or unexpected judgements against the property and also liens. All of those items will need to be addressed and cleared from the title before it can be transferred. Here is where Stewart Abstract excels: in Settlement, Escrow, and Disbursement Services. The Title Officers truly shine when it comes to experience, customer service, and industry reputation. They have worked, not just in the Title Insurance Industry for many years but for Stewart Abstract for years. Some have worked there for decades! As we get closer to settlement, you should be hearing from Chris McGeady and also Carol Chelius with the settlement details. Also, keep in mind, Carol does work with an assistant, so there might be times you will get a call or an email from someone else at this company. Al...so breaking ground in a couple of weeks for the 2 car garage and master suite addition on the backside of the property! My little labor of love! The Lezon's suffered a house fire last year and with 2020's unfortunate events, it has left them not only homeless but unemployed. ... Unemployment has not panned out, the relief money has not been approved, and the insurance company was not able to provide enough funds to get the family back home. Currently living in a camper (with no heat), down by the river, this is an opportunity to pay forward some good and help a neighbor pick up some of the pieces and allow the family to have a place to call home again. We are joining forces with area real estate investors to donate man hours to get the house rebuilt.
