June 1, 2020 Covid-19 Update: All outdoor facilities including the Rifle, Handgun, and Archery Ranges, Skeet and Trap Fields, and the Fish Pond, are open for Member use while maintaining physical distancing guidelines. All forthcoming scheduled activities at the Club are cancelled until further notice, including the Sunday Trap Shoots and Monthly Meetings. The Work Party scheduled for Saturday June 13th will be held starting at 8:00am. New Member Applications: Our By-Laws req...uire that all new prospective members be approved for admission by the Voting Members of the Club at a regular Monthly Meeting. Unfortunately we have not had a Monthly Meeting since March and the beginning of the Covid-19 mandates. As of now we are uncertain as to when the next Monthly Meeting will be allowed and scheduled. We are still accepting New Member applications but all applications will be held by the Membership Chairperson for approval at that next Monthly Meeting, whenever it might be. Please do not contact the Officers, Trustees, or Membership Chairperson and request exceptions to this By-Law as they cannot and will not be granted. We appreciate your patience and understanding, but unfortunately these are the rules by which we govern the Club. Spotted Lantern Fly Survey: The PA Dept. of Agriculture will be conducting an onsite survey of our property on June 12th starting at 10:00am and lasting approximately three hours during which time various ranges will be closed to use at times during their survey work. An Officer will be present to close and open ranges as needed. From this survey an abatement plan will be developed and implemented to deal with this destructive pest. Reminder: Guests MUST have their guest pass displayed with their host member’s membership card on the corresponding range board clips when shooting. ALL Members MUST display their membership card on the corresponding range board clips whenever shooting, not on a lanyard around your neck or pinned on a hat.

April 25, 2020 Covid-19 Update: The Officers and Trustees have decided to re-open the use of all outdoor facilities including the Rifle, Handgun, and Archery Ranges, Skeet and Trap Fields, and the Fish Pond, all while maintaining physical distancing guidelines. All forthcoming scheduled activities at the Club remain cancelled until further notice, including the Sunday Trap Shoots and Monthly Meetings. The Annual Kids’ Fish Rodeo is now cancelled and will not be rescheduled this year. Fishing is now open to Members with any type tackle and (3) fish per Member per day may be taken. Please stay safe !!

Covid-19 March 28th Update: The Officers and Trustees have decided in compliance with the March 27, 2020 PA Governor’s Stay at Home Order that all Club facilities are closed to Members and Guests. That includes Rifle, Handgun, and Archery Ranges, Skeet and Trap Fields, and the Fish Pond. All forthcoming scheduled activities at the Club are cancelled until further notice. That includes the March 28th Work Party, April 4th Tactical Handgun Shoot, and April 8th Monthly Meeting. ...The April 11th Kids’ Fish Rodeo is also postponed and will be rescheduled at a later date. The Clubhouse will remain closed until further notice. The website will be updated as things progress. Sunday Trap Shoot: There will not be a monthly Trap Shoot on Sunday April 12th as this is Easter Sunday. There will be a monthly Trap Shot on Sunday May 10th which is Mother’s Day unless the Covid-19 public health emergency persists.

Hello all, this is your 1stVP here. Just a quick notice that the Lancaster Co SERT sniper team will be using the upper rifle range on Wednesday January 8th from 8am until possibly as late as 2pm for practice and qualifications so that range will be unavailable at that time. Please allow the team their privacy so they can concentrate on their task at hand. Sorry for an inconvenience and thanks for supporting our local law enforcement!
