October 20, 21, and 22, 2021, Pennsylvania’s Premier EMS Conference returns to Kalahari Resorts and Convention Center. We have removed 2020 from our historical records and will celebrate 25 years of educational excellence at this years CODE EMS Conference

Mass Vaccinations - EMS Engagement Good Morning Friends, As our nations response to the COVID 19 crisis enters the phase in which vaccinations become more readily available, our regional office is preparing to assist our many partners in this undertaking. ... As you are aware, Pennsylvania has authorized Paramedics to administer the vaccination following the providers successful completion of a simplistic two-step process. At this time, the Eastern PA EMS Council is soliciting paramedics to support mass vaccination sites, some beginning as early as next week, and we are requesting your assistance. As we did during the 2009 - 2010 HIN1 vaccination campaigns, EMS was instrumental in the successful vaccination of thousands of our family, friends and neighbors, and we want to repeat this mission as we all fight COVID 19. How do I become involved and what is required: - Program is open to certified PA paramedics that have completed both the online vaccine awareness program AND have secured a validation of skills form from your EMS agency medical director (information attached); - Paramedics will become independent contractors for the Eastern PA EMS Council and be compensated at a rate of $30.00 per hour by the EMS Council (Independent Contract form attached); - Paramedics will be scheduled for upcoming mass vaccination clinics through the Eastern PA EMS Council office - To become involved, simply contact John Kloss via [email protected] to secure additional information and move forward with making a difference in our communities.
