From those serving on our parking lots, greeting folks at our doors, the medical/safety team, our guest desks, our ushers, to those who distribute church literature. So thankful to all the talented musicians, singers, tech crew and ultimately friends who serve faithfully each week to make our services happen and His Name to be lifted. I am so thankful for ALL the volunteers who help with Fellowship here at COD. This also includes the ARMS and LEGS who are always fixing things for me and cleaning and setting tables at various times. There are so many different jobs that fall under ‘Fellowship’. Shopping, cooking, serving, organizing, making coffee, doing dishes, cleaning floors, removing tables and chairs, emptying trash cans, etc. Every job is so important! I appreciate all of you so much! Without YOU e...vents could not happen. You are more than volunteers, you have become my very dear friends!! Thank you!! ...know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. This past Sunday was Sanctity of Human Life Sunday, and we talked about one of our awesome Local Outreach Partners that is located right here in York, Human Life Services. The folks in this ministry are committed to helping women and men in crisis - often alone and frightened. Some services they offer are: * Free pregnancy testing * Free obstetrical ultrasounds * Confidential counseling about pregnancy options... * Prenatal and parenting education * Maternity and baby clothes * Post-abortion recovery counseling There are many ways to get involved and support this wonderful ministry from financial support to volunteering your time.
