With Governor Wolf's recent "Stay at Home Order", Chiropractors are still considered essential Health Care Providers. With that said, I will continue to be available to treat patients in need, but on a limited basis. If you need to be seen, please call 570-883-2220 and we will schedule you accordingly. Please be safe, stay hydrated, rest, and wash your hands frequently. Monday 3/30/20 OFFICE HOURS: 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm -

One of my ‘little patients’ brought this in for me. He always likes touching the spine model in my treatment rooms and asking questions. He said here, this is for you. During these most difficult times, I STILL got your back. The office is open, we are taking as many precautions as we can to make your visit safe. If you have a fever, cough, or not feeling well in general, please stay home and rest and hydrate as much as you can. Call your family doctor if you feel it is ...necessary. But for those of you that are feeling stressed, feel that you need to come in for an adjustment, I plan on being here unless the state deems it no longer necessary. I may go to reduce the hours I may no longer have staff everything is up in the air right now. But as of Monday, March 23 I am still open regular hours. You can call the office and please leave a message. Thank you. See more

Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf mandated the shutdown of 1000s of businesses today, here is a partial list of those that are allowed to remain open: Businesses permitted to remain open must practice social distancing and other measures to protect workers and patrons from contracting the virus, the governor's office said. Among those allowed to stay open are gas stations, grocery stores, beer distributors, drugstores and building materials stores. Restaurants and bars can conti...nue to offer carry-out, delivery and drive-thru food and drink service, but not dine-in service. *** Hospitals, doctor's offices and dental offices are permitted to remain open, but the order prohibits elective health procedures as officials work to help hospitals create more capacity in anticipation of a surge in coronavirus patients. With that said, I plan on remaining open to serve my current patients and will be accepting new ones as well. If you are sick, please stay home and avoid spreading whatever you have to others. If you are feeling stressed, in pain, or looking to naturally boost your immunity, call for an appointment. We will be scheduling in a manner that limits the amount of people in the office at one time. I will continue to be here as long as there is a need for my services. Stay hydrated and stay healthy.

Chiropractic Care is an Essential Healthcare Service Mar 16, 2020 | Advocacy, Education, News | For Immediate Release March 16, 2020 (Falls Church, VA) In these challenging times associated with the COVID-19 Pandemic, the International Chiropractors Association (ICA) is issuing a statement reaffirming chiropractic as an essential healthcare service. Everyone is under extraordinary levels of stress. Chiropractic Services represent an essential and necessary component of the ...health care program of millions of patients of all ages and all walks of life in the United States and worldwide. Timely and consistent access to chiropractic care is essential to the maintenance of the health and wellbeing of this patient population, particularly during times of stress. The association encourages jurisdictions at all levels to acknowledge and respect that chiropractic is an essential healthcare service even during a pandemic. It is important to recognize that as of mid-March 2020, there are no recognized cures in conventional medicine or alternative health approaches for COVID-19. There are no vaccines, no drugs, no natural remedies, no alternative therapies that have been tested and the outcomes peer reviewed to meet any evidence-based standard. The public has the right to seek their own pathway to health and well-being. For millions of Americans, that pathway includes regular chiropractic care. For individuals such as those recovering from injury or suffering back pain, chiropractic care is essential on their road to recovery. ICA President, Stephen P. Welsh, DC, FICA stated, While Coronavirus-19 has everyone’s attention, it cannot be forgotten that health promotion and non-opioid pain management through chiropractic adjustments of the subluxation is essential and should not be curtailed or restricted because of this pandemic. With churches, schools, restaurants, museums being closed, the ICA reminds authorities that the offices of doctors of chiropractic should be treated no differently than the offices of medical doctors as an essential health care service. And on the Seventh Day, of the first month, in the year of our Lord Two Thousand and Twenty......there is working phone service at Colella Chiropractic. Lo and behold it was NOT a Comcast issue, nor was it something on my end. Work was being done in the building and "other workers" touched some wires they shouldn't have touched. Thank you to Nicole, Eric, and Tom from Comcast for finally solving a week without proper phone service. It's a (Russian) Christmas Miracle.

UPDATE: Now if you call the office 570-883-2220, it does go to voicemail. Unfortunately it does not ring here at my office and I don’t have the ability to get to voicemail messages. Yet another hurdle to overcome. Comcast tech coming today at noon thanks to a friend who is a ‘higher up’ at Comcast. Supposed to get fixed today. SERENITY NOW. Oh, by the way I'm OPEN 7-12:30 & 2-6. Don't bother calling, just stop by ;)
