Hello Rangers, Shade Tree Park Captain Amy Evans has planned some work and I've attached her flyer with the details. Unfortunately, there was a communication slip and I was unable to share this before the first successful work event this past Monday. Let's keep the good work rolling! Thanks, Jeff -- ... Enjoy Life. This is not a dress rehearsal. See more

Join us at Locust Street Park Hello Rangers, It's time to join Pennsylvania in our slow and careful release from hibernation. The work detail scheduled for this Saturday, June 6, will take place as planned but will have a reduced work load. Beginning at 8a, some mulch will be spread and weeding will be done. Depending on volunteer quantity and energy, weeding may continue down Locust Street around trees and perhaps in the brick sidewalk strip. Please come out and enjo...y the outdoors, socializing, and social distancing. Thanks, jeff See more

Columbia Park Rangers work update Hello Rangers, I hope everyone is maintaining health and sanity during these uncertain times. I just got word that the clean up scheduled for this Saturday at Glatfelter Field is postponed. A new date is not set due to the ever changing outlook. CBAA is still weighing the options for their spring sports and, therefore, some field work and associated areas may not get attention. There is still a need for leaf and stick removal so if the pi...cture clears, the Columbia Park Rangers may schedule a detail accordingly. I also received word that the Adopt a Highway program is suspended and may affect our yet to be scheduled evening clean up in April. Stay tuned and, hopefully, flexible as our scheduling evolves. Take care, Jeff -- Enjoy Life. This is not a dress rehearsal.

A BIG thank you to all the volunteers who came out yesterday to our first Cleanup of the season! Check our schedule to see if you can make the next event. We guarantee some fresh air, exercise and the satisfaction of knowing you have helped your community. You don’t need to be a member to take part and FYI, students can earn community service hours by participating!

Hello All: This Saturday, June 8, is a work detail assisting the Shade Tree Commission on Locust Street. We will meet at 8am in Locust Street Park and then head down Locust Street to mulch and prune street trees. There are two big events downtown in June - the Car Show on the 15th and the Craft Show on the 29th. If you can't be there by 8, feel free to join us in progress. Any amount of help is welcome. Hope to see you there... --

Looking ahead to a sunny weekend after a lot of weather uncertainty this week, why don’t you make a little time to join the Rangers at Locust St. Park this Saturday, June 1, from 8am to Noon. We will mulch and attend to other tasks as we look ahead to a busy summer in that lovely space. Come for any amount of time or the whole four hours, bring a friend or stop by simply to say hello. See you there !!!!
