2020 Concerts Announced! Anne Hills September 25th, 2020, 7:30 PM We are very excited to kickoff the Concerts for a Cause Fall 2020 season with Anne Hills. Anne is a veteran of the contemporary folk music field. She has an absolutely beautiful voice and she has performed with some of the major names in contemporary folk music, such as: Tom Paxton, Bob Gibson, Noel Paul Stookey and Peter Yarrow (of Peter Paul and Mary fame), Steve Gillette, and Priscilla Herdmen, just to... name a few. She is also an accomplished songwriter with many CDs and awards to her credit. Acoustic Coots October 16th, 2020 7:30 PM The Acoustic Coots, Ivan Stiles and Chuck Kupferschmidt, bring a unique blend of traditional-to-contemporary music in the folk tradition with old-time favorites, traditional ballads, and original songs. Together they sing and play guitar, banjo, mandolin, fiddle, autoharp, mountain dulcimer, bowed psaltery, spoons, and musical saw. Ivan is an International Autoharp Champion and a member of The Autoharp Hall of Fame. Between the two, they have recorded six CDs. Noggin Hill November 13, 2020, 7:30 PM Noggin Hill’s music incorporates musical elements of bluegrass, folk-jazz, and the American songbook. Noggin Hill is a trio of very talented performers who sing and play: guitar, fiddle, mandolin, banjo and stand up bass. One member, Chris Coyle, is a SpringFord High School Graduate, (2006). Charlie Zahm December 18, 2020, 7:30 PM Charlie Zahm returns to perform his popular Celtic Christmas Concert again this year. Last year he packed the church and gave a memorable performance. One women was heard saying to herself as she left the concert, just beautiful, absolutely beautiful!. This concert is a must see event. Get there early for a good seat. Doors open at 6:45 PM.
