Take a look at these photos from our Museum display. The Keystone Ordinance Works (KOW) was built for the production of TNT, near Geneva, following the attack on Pearl Harbor. The TNT was then shipped by railroad to Ravenna OH where it was used in the manufacture of bombs and artillery shells. It was a huge endeavor, utilizing up to 1,650 employees and covering 22 square miles. Some of your parents and grandparents may have been a part of this production. Now, what’s left a...re water towers, igloos and multiple buildings. AND memories and personal stories and photos and artifacts which depict this pivotal time in our history. Even though our Museum is not open regular hours during the winter, we welcome the opportunity to show you and your family/friends around. Give us a call at 382-8722 to arrange a free personal tour to see this KOW display and many others.
