Hello everyone, The Riverside NASP students will be using the indoor range for practice on Saturday February 27 from 10 a.m.-12p.m. CVB will also be hosting their virtual tournament on March 6 from 8 a.m.-4p.m. Please make arrangements to shoot at alternative times or on another date as the indoor range will be closed for these events. The outdoor range will remain open. Thank you!

CVB January 2021 Newsletter Meeting: January 27. Next meeting: February 24 at 8 p.m. January marks the start of the Indoor 600 League and scores can be shot at any point during the week. The League is open to members and family and is $3/week per shooter for the first thirteen weeks of the year. Shooters of all skillsets are welcome! Points are based on personal improvement, not total score, and shot from 20 yards. Please include a name and note with dues. Members will be s...hooting together on Wednesday nights if you would like to join or have any questions. WORK DAYS: We’ll be having several work days to clean up the course, repair targets, and set the shooting lanes and stakes for the upcoming 3D season. We will be meeting at 8 a.m. on Sunday February 21, March 14, and March 28. All help is appreciated and if you’d like to see anything new or different done with the course, please join us and make some suggestions! CLUB CLOSURES: The indoor range will be closed on Monday and Thursday nights through winter for the Riverside NASP shooters starting January 4, and the club will be closed on Saturday, January 30 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Please arrange to shoot at alternative times, thank you!

CVB October 2020 Newsletter Meeting: October 28. Next meeting: November 25 at 8 p.m. The club is open for members to shoot or to hunt, please just sign in inside. The NASP students and parents will be meeting at the club on Monday and Thursday nights through the fall and winter. Please remember to keep the bathroom doors closed and the heater on as it gets colder. The wood furnace is going to be replaced this year. We will be having a workday on Sunday, November 8 starting a...t 8 a.m. to blow leaves, cut an overhanging branch, repair the outdoor lights, and complete the paint on the 3D targets Matt Shultz has repaired. Please join us as we get the clubhouse ready for the winter season. The indoor 600 League will begin the first week of January as usual and run for the first thirteen weeks of the year. This is open to members and their families and is open for all ages and skill levels. Shooters can come whenever it’s convenient throughout the week if practicing social distancing, however, members will continue meeting on Wednesday nights for anyone looking for more information. CVB August 2020 Newsletter Meeting: August 26. Next meeting: September 30 at 8 p.m. Please remember that the new membership period has started so bring your old key to exchange for a new one. The locks have changed, and so old keys will no longer work. There will be a member workday to mow and address the course on Wednesday September 16 at 5:30 p.m. Set up for the targets on the course will be Friday, September 18 at 5:30. Any and all help on these days is highly appreciat...ed. Our next shoot on September 20 is our final shoot for the season and a League Shoot. Our last turnout was good, and we would love to see everyone come on out and join us to support the club again! There’s plenty of space for folks and stakes set for all ages and skill levels, making it very family friendly. Any card turned in will help the club for the League, regardless of score. Clean up for the final shoot of the season will also involve cataloging the targets, taking inventory of any repairs needed, as well as pulling stakes for the season. Any help for this clean up would be very welcome if you can hang out after shooting. We look forward to seeing you then! The last two local shoots for the season will be League Shoots, and we would appreciate anyone who can make it to please come on out and shoot for CVB! It’s been a crazy year, but it would be a great way to wrap up this wild season. Thank you for all of your support! CVB July 2020 Newsletter Meeting: July 29. Next meeting: August 26 at 8 p.m. The membership renewals are now due. Please remember to bring your old key to exchange for a new one as the locks have changed! There will be three member workdays to mow, address the course, and to set the 3D targets before our next shoot. The first workday will be Sunday, August 9 at 8 a.m. to address the new platform for the cougar in a tree shot and to rework the first three targets of the co...urse to make it easier to walk. We will be mowing and weed whacking the course on Wednesday, August 12 at 5:30 p.m. Set up for the targets on the course will be Friday, July 19 at 5:30. Any and all help on these days is highly appreciated! Our next shoot is a League Shoot and we would love to see more members come out and join us to support the club! CVB May 2020 Newsletter Meeting: May 27. Next meeting: June 24 at 8 p.m. The annual summer 3D shoots have resumed, and we thank everyone who came out for our first shoot! ... The targets out front have been refaced for the season. The aiming spots have been moved to improve wear through the season. We will be working on the long-range targets next. There will be two workdays to mow and weed whack the 3D course before the shoot. With the summer weather upon us the grass has really been growing! The first work night will be Wednesday, June 17 at 5:30 and we will return on Saturday, June 20 if we’re rained out or still have more to do. Set up for the targets on the course will be Friday, June 19 at 5:30 as usual. BVA will be hosting the first league shoot of the season and we hope to have a strong turn out for CVB! We thank you all for signing up for the club when attending. It really helps! Rochester will not be hosting its June and July shoots. These are turbulent times and so scheduling may change at a later notice for other clubs as well. We thank you all for your patience!
