We have exciting news! This Friday in celebration of Downtown Chambersburg's First Friday we will be opening our doors to the public from 5-7pm. And from next w...eek onward we will be open at our normal hours 10am - 2pm Tuesday - Friday. CORONAVIRUS UPDATE: The health and safety of our patrons, instructors, students, and staff is the highest priority of the Council for the Arts. Due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) Pandemic, and the recent stay-at-home mandate by Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf, the Council for the Arts will remain closed until further notice. Unfortunately, this means that we must cancel our classes scheduled for the month of April and possibly beyond. When we finally get through this health cri...sis, our mission will still be to inspire, educate and create artistic opportunities within our community. The Council for the Arts is looking forward to reopening and resuming the classes and events you know and love as soon as possible. Thank you for your understanding during these unprecedented times. Please know that we are thinking of you and your families, and hope you all stay safe and healthy. See more
