Dear Friends, The Pottstown WIN (Women in the NAACP) Committee is delighted to bring you the first of a daily project celebrating women for Black History ...Month. We'll be bringing you wise, witty and otherwise wonderful quotes from Black women -- some of whom you may recognize, some of whom you may not. Even if you recognize the woman, you might not recognize the quote. (We love you, Oprah!) These are women of all ages and eras, from an Olympics-hopeful gymnast to a cigar-smoking, gun-toting, horse-hitching independent of the 1800s. In doing the project, we were surprised, educated and moved ourselves. We invite you to join us every day on this special journey. See more
