BIG ANNOUNCEMENT!!!! There is a lot of info in this post, so please read carefully, and if you have any questions feel free to message or call us! Before we had to TEMPORARILY suspend in-person services we had set a goal to provide ONE HUNDRED Christmas meal boxes to those in need during a drive-thru food distribution event. After a lot of discussion and prayer, we believe we will still be able to do this!! However, we needed to modify it a bit. Rather than asking folks to pu...rchase the food items themselves, we have come up with a plan that simplifies everything and gets us the most for each donation. At this time, praise the Lord, we are able to purchase food items needed to do just about 100 boxes!! Each box will contain a ham, a 5-pound bag of potatoes, a box of stuffing mix, canned veggies, and a pie. Now, while 100 boxes were our beginning goal, we would be THRILLED to be able to do even more! We know times are tough and tight right now, so we are asking 2 things. 1. If you would like to make a monetary donation to help us go above and beyond the set goal you can drop it off at the church Monday-Friday 10-5 in the provided lock box inside the door. 2. If you aren't able to give a donation, that's ok! We would then ask that you pray! Prayer is THE MOST POWERFUL tool we have for situations like this and really, any/every situation! Please pray for this event, that more people will be fed than we can even imagine. Pray that the Holy Spirit moves and blesses in mighty ways for all those involved and receiving these boxes!! All donations will be put toward the food items which will go into each box. We will take all the money, place a bulk order for the food, and then on Dec 19th, the men's ministry will meet at 8am to pack all these boxes!! The Drive-Thru hand out, which will be first come first serve, will be Monday, Dec 21st, details for that day will be coming soon! Thank you for your prayers and your love for this community! Greetings folks, In the last few days we have seen cases and potential cases of Covid begin to rise within our congregation. A few have tested positive and others have symptoms and are currently waiting for test results. Unfortunately nothing is 100%, however, we are confident in the precautions we have taken to keep that chance of exposure minimal. Even with those precautions in place, as difficult as the decision is, we feel at this time it is best to suspend all in-person... services until Wednesday Dec 16 in order to try and prevent more cases and a potential outbreak within our church and community. We will still continue with Sunday morning live stream and also be adding a live stream prayer service Wednesdays at 6pm and Gods Choice live stream Thursdays at 6pm. As always, all tithes and donations may be given on our Tithely account, mailed to the church, or dropped off during the week.
