Much better conditions for playing disc golf this past Saturday, but I do like snow! 12 players showed up and we played Worst shot- drives only for the front 9 and Alternating partner drives only on the back 9 with Half-point Nelson for all 18 holes with A and B doubles. Made for a very interesting round. Since Dan Rad hasn't showed up yet our mulligan count for Project share is very low. Please Dan come on out, the kids need you. Zach Rowe clawed his way back into first place, but now he can't rely on Christmas swag. From now on till the finale a player can earn one point limit per round for Coyote swag and again no repeating. Next format is still pending.
We will be playing A and B doubles and Half-point Nelson all 18 holes with worst shot drive for front nine and alternating drives from each partner for the back nine. So the back nine, each team will decide which player will tee off for the odd holes and which one for the even holes. Half-point Nelson is you get a half point if you hit any metal or flag on the target/basket. You tee off on #1 and then on your second throw you hit the basket but it doesn't go in your team would score a 2.5 instead of a 3. On hole #3 if you hit metal and it goes out of bounds, you are ok since hitting metal completes the hole. Merry Christmas, hope to see everyone out at The Hills. P.S. remember your Christmas swag for extra points.
Carlisle Coyotes will be having our 12th Annual Ice Bowl to raise money for Project SHARE of Carlisle PA on Saturday Jan 23. If you don't want to play you can still donate. We don't except food items just checks or cash and the reason is Project Share can stretch a dollar a lot farther than a single person can. Thru the generosity of the disc golf community and friends, Carlisle Coyotes has donated just over $10,000 to Project Share since we started our Ice Bowls. There is an event page Carlisle Ice Bowl XII.
We had 11 players show up to brave the slightly deep snow and play a truncated round of only 9 holes. The reason was our foursome was shoveling our whole teepad on the back nine and getting very tired, while the other foursome was only shoveling a portion of their teepads on the front nine. Names will be kept secret so not to embarrass them. Ben Holmes and Josiah Truitt came out on top shooting 4 under. We have a new leader now. We will be playing the day after Christmas, so come on out and join in the fun. WFL is the best!!!
We want to welcome our newest Coyotes. It's a family affair, Mike Van Grouw and his two sons Ben and Jack. Everyone better watch out for Ben and Jack they will be moving up in the standings quick. With a little more time their scores will be much lower. Remember there is no official tag round this Wednesday. If anyone plays just shoot me the scores and I'll post them. November 7th is our last tag round before our finale on the 14th. https://www.discgolfscene.com//2020_Carlisle_/leaderboards

We welcome back Alec Failor to the Coyotes. And incidentally he has the record for the biggest jump in tag numbers, he went from 57 to grabbing the #1 tag tonight from Mr Todd Bodd. We had 15 players today fighting the wind, here are the results. https://www.discgolfscene.com//2020_Carlisle_/leaderboards

It is now set in stone, our tag finale is November 14. More details to come about format and starting time. Remember this Wednesday's tags start at 5pm. And everything is right about the world, Mr Todd Bodd has the number one tag again! As per usual Dan S. couldn't hold on to the number one tag ;) and in a three player duel on his card he came up on the losing end behind Todd and Jason R.. https://www.discgolfscene.com//2020_Carlisle_Coyotes_Bag_T
There was an epic battle for the number one tag on Wednesday night and Matt Kiral reclaimed the #1 tag that he held way back in May. Daniel Sidell couldn't repeat and was third on his card behind Dillon Morret. 58, 59, and 61. Very close, great card! The Coyotes welcome back Jake Sheaffer, he is the proud owner of the #55 tag. https://www.discgolfscene.com//2020_Carlisle_/leaderboards
We welcome Bradley O'Grady and Jake Greenisen to the Coyotes. Jake joined a little while ago but the paperwork was lost, sorry Jake. Remember Weds tags start at 5 pm. https://www.discgolfscene.com//2020_Carlisle_/leaderboards
