CPI Practical Nursing Program

CPI's Part Time Students had a great day practicing their lab skills. Despite not being back to our clinical sites yet, the students are still working hard to keep their skills sharp. If you see a familiar face behind those masks, give them a shout out !

CPI's January Full Time Nursing Class participated in the the Boalsburg Fire Dept Health Screening for their firefighters. Our students screened 28 firefighters over the day and were glad to be out in the community helping.

Sending out a big congratulation to Niall Lanks and Ivy Hou as our recent student of the months. Way to go! Niall's peer nominate him for student of the month because he is always willing to help others and has a positive attitude. Ivy's peers nominated her because she is super helpful, always smiling, and ready to help others. She is very dedicated to her learning experience and has a great attitude.

Our Part Time students have a message to share If you know any of these hard working students, make sure to send them a big "Good Job!". All of our students have continued to push forward towards their goals during this tough transition of learning from home and we couldn't be more proud!

If you didn't know, our Nursing Program here at CPI is still fully up and running during this uncertain time. While we cannot physically be in the CPI building, our Practical Nursing Coordinator and Secretary are working from home to enroll new students for our upcoming class prospectivly starting in August 2020. All of our classroom Instructors are also working hard from home to keep our current classes on track as well. The Full Time and Part Time classes have not missed ...a beat and are meeting via live classrooms to learn the important material they need to continue on with the program. We are currently not certain when we'll hear the wonderful news that we can resume our programs in person, but we sure hope it's soon!
