Sled riding or skiing at Cranberry Highlands? Sorry! Residents & visitors often ask where exactly can one sled ride or take a winter walk in the Township? Popular hot spots to hit for sledding are the hills at North Boundary Park and Community Park. Cranberry Highlands Golf Course, though, is not one of those places. To prevent damage to the turf - sledding, and cross-country skiing are prohibited on the course. Additionally, cart paths will not be maintained and are closed ...to pedestrian access during the winter season. Graham Park and North Boundary Park are full of safe options for winter activities, especially the walking and hiking trails that are maintained throughout the winter. Winter has arrived!

The 2020 Butler County Pro-Am Fall Golf Classic wraps up today at Cranberry Highlands. Amateur golfers in teams of three were paired with a regional PGA professional throughout this two-day tournament hosted by Butler County Tourism & Convention Bureau and Tri-State Section PGA, and sponsored by FootJoy and the First Energy Foundation.

What's the BUZZ!? The Cranberry Community Apiary will host an open event on Sunday, July 19 from 10 a.m. to noon at the Apiary, which is located at the golf course! During the event, local gardening guru Doug Oster will discuss how to make home yards, gardens and landscaping more pollinator friendly. That will be followed by a tour of a honeybee hive and a discussion of the complexity of their species. Attendees are asks to arrive with masks on, and social distancing will b...e maintained throughout the event. No open shoes are permitted, and long pants should be worn. Safety gear will be provided.
