Good Morning everybody. Rich here. We have decided to have have Kriss' memorial on July 19 at 1000. It will be held here at Crescendo per her instructions. The address is 288 South Fairmount Road, Ephrata Pa for those who want to attend that have never been here before. I'm sure Kriss wouldn't mind if you showed up in barn clothes, so don't feel obligated to wear something formal and shiny. Please reply "attending" if you're coming, so I can get some sort of head count. Hope to see you all there.

Hello everybody. Rich here. For those who don't know me, I am Kriss' husband. Most of you probably know she was sick for a very long time. It saddens me to tell all of you, she passed away last night. She is no longer in pain and I am very grateful for that. She was a very special person who enriched the lives of everybody she knew, whether it be friend, client or enemy. She saved the ever enriching tongue lashing for the latter. She valued everybodys friendship and the worki...ng relationships she had with her clients. We couldn't have built Crescendo to what it is now without your support.Her wishes were to have her memorial at the farm, which is a fantastic idea. She was always full of those. Due to current world circumstances, her memorial will have to be put on hold. Her closest friends new she never really had very good luck. Once this all blows over, I will set a date where we can all celebrate her extremely colorful life. With any luck, I'm hoping to have it early summer. It's always so beautiful here that time of year. Jack Frost Exhibitors--Looking at the forecast for tomorrow. Its hard to know whether we're looking at flurries or actual snow. With this in mind, we will be running on fairly open cards tomorrow. If you think gettting in and out early will help your cause, come on and we'll get you in and out in a hurry. If you'd rather wait some and see what's going to happen a bit, come later. We will start at noon and run until we're done, but are not married to the ride times posted. I hope that helps some. A lot of the horses are stabled here, so we'll keep going until we run out of rides. If you're coming late, let us know and we will accomodate!

Looking for a dj to do our Pennsylvania Arabian Horse Association South Central District January 25th awards banquet. Cannot seem to get ahold of the last two we had. Anyone interested in djing an award party for a non-profit? Its at Mt. Gretna, PA at the Timbers restaurant from 6 to 10 pm.

So we're getting ready to start our 49 dressage/western dressage rides here soon. Tomorrow we start at 9 am with 8 entries in the ranch horse trail, then slide into the rest of the ranch horse, western and showmanship classes. We currently have 61 entries in those classes. There are no entries in leadline. I predict that our hunter over fences and simultaneous games/gymkhana classes will not start before 11 am.

Hello all! Super dressage day at Jack Frost! Tomorrow's day will start at 9:00 am with Ranch Horse Trail. There are at least 6 horses in each of the Ranch Horse classes tomorrow, then we move onto Showmanship, leadline, etc. After the completion of those classes, we will move our judge out to the outdoor arena for the Hunter Over Fences division to start, and will run the games/gymkhana in the indoor at the same time. We have some super vendors on site, plus the used tack/clothing sale in the lounge, so bring your cash and pick up some Christmas gifts!

Awesome day at PVDA today for Team Crescendo! Congrats to Radene Gordon-Beck for three super rides on Dark Prankster+++// after him being off most of the season! HUGE congrats to Elizabeth Belack on earning her last 3rd level score to finish her USDF Bronze medal (she earned the 1st one on Wednesday of this week at Dunmovin!) and make EAF Kidmann+/ a confirmed 3rd level horse! And all my love and affection for my little 14.2 hh mare, Crescendos Allegro+// for winning her s...econd Musical Freestyle class this week with a 72+% and just missing winning the Prix St. Georges by less than 1/2% with a 65+% to finish the season! Good job all! Now looking forward to our Christine Betz clinic Friday and Saturday and the first Jack Frost Jubilee shows this coming Saturday and Sunday! Entries are trickling in for the first Jack Frost of the season! Today is the pre-entry deadline. Get them in the mail and postmarked by today for pre-entry prices! FYI-- The new format is all Dressage, Western Dressage, Suitability and Hack will run Saturday at 12:00 noon. Sunday will begin at 9:00 am in the indoor with ECRRA Ranch Horse Trail, then move on through the Ranch horse classes, including Walk-Trot classes that can be entered as well as the WTL classes (Ranch ...only). Ranch Horse will have its own separate series end awards catagory! Then we will move onto Showmanship, Ranch Halter, Leadline, Hunter Over Fences division (which will run outdoors weather permitting while Games/Gymkhana run in the indoor), then Western flat classes, followed by the english flat classes, ending with English Show Hack. We're really looking forward to seeing our frequent flyers again, as well as welcoming a super group of new faces! We're also hosting a used tack and equipment sale in the lounge as well as having a vendor selling tack and equipment in addition to other vendors selling various and sundry things. The Jack Frost Winter Horse Show Series will Benefit Greystone Manor Therapeutic Riding Center! Crescendo Training Centre, LLC again will offer the Jack Frost Jubilee Fun Horse Show Series to provide entertainment and competition over the winter months. Shows will be held November 16 &17, December 7 & 8, 2019, January 18 & 19, February 8 & 9 and March 7 & 8, 2020, offering a wide variety of classes. The Series is PAC Approved and competitors will earn credits. New this yea...r is an expanded Ranch Horse Division, approved by East Coast Ranch Riding Association. Classes to be offered are: Leadline, Showmanship, Western Horsemanship & Pleasure, Hunter Over Fences and Hunter Hack, Dressage including Western Dressage, Pas De Deux and Musical Freestyle, Show Hack, English Equitation & Pleasure, Walk-Trot division (both English and Western), Gymkhana (Barrel Racing and other speed classes), New! Ranch Horse Riding, Ranch Pleasure, Ranch Halter, Ranch Trail and Games for all ages. Winners at the show will earn points towards the well received Series-end awards to be awarded at the final show of the series on March 7 & 8, 2020. There is a new format for this year. All the Dressage and Western Dressage will run on Saturday, beginning at 12:00 noon. Sunday’s show will begin at 9:00 am, beginning with the expanded Ranch Horse Division. Christine Betz of Thurmont, MD will judge the November 16th show and Penny Piersol of New Holland, PA will judge November 17th. Crescendo Brings Home National Honors Crescendo Training Centre, LLC outdid themselves again this year at this year’s Arabian and Half-Arabian Sport Horse Nationals held at HITS Chicago-Balmoral Park in Crete, IL, September 2-7, 2019. Crescendo hauled five horses to Illinois to compete. They returned to Pennsylvania with a National Championship and 17 Top 10s. The show consisted of classes offered in Sport Horse Disciplines including Dressage, Western Dressage, Hunter over... Fences, Jumpers, Sport Horse In-Hand, Show Hack and Under Saddle and Carriage Pleasure Driving. The Arabian & Half-Arabian Sport Horse Nationals is the only Sport Horse show offered by a breed association. Levi Smartchic+//, owned by Teresa Grogan of Ephrata, PA, was the standout for Crescendo this year, bringing home a National Championship in Western Dressage Level 2 and Top 10 in Western Dressage Level 1 with trainer, Kriss Phelps and another Top 10 in Western Dressage Level 1-Amateur to ride with Virginia Myers. Crescendos Allegro+// shown by her Trainer/Owner, Kriss Phelps, bred by Marilee Schwartz of Leola, PA, brought home 4 Top 10s in Western Dressage Levels 1 & 2, as well as Dressage-Prix St. Georges and Intermediate 1.
