Venturing Crew 163 Shavertown

Crew hike today on the Appalachian Trail from Fox Gap to Delaware Water Gap, about 7 miles. It was a nice cool day for hiking. The trail was super busy today, especially as we got nearer to the gap. Covid seems to have turned everyone into hikers these days.

Crew 163 will be hosting a trunk. See you there!

Our Venturers spent Saturday evening at Camp Acahela along with Troop 281 and then after breakfast and breaking camp on Sunday, we drove to Jim Thorpe, caught the bicycle shuttle to Rockport, then biked 15 miles along the Lehigh Gorge from Rockport back to Jim Thorpe. A busy weekend and overall, cooperative weather.
