This was a custom order to hold a family heirloom bible. It is made with cherry and maple wood and 3D engraved with a cross. Such a beautiful piece to hold a family heirloom.

I have many words swimming through my head about 2020. Feelings and thoughts differ on what each individual went through during the year. For some it was a gr...eat year, for some it was a trying year, for others alot of sadness, some had combinations of all these. For us it was definitely a learning year. We learned what that feels like to spend 88 days together while my husband wasn't working...we made so many memories and we speak fondly of our quarantine time together as a family. Our girls will never forget those times. We learned to appreciate the things God has gifted to us and to take care of these gifts. We learned that each day we wake up is a treasure not to be taken lightly. We learned to be more appreciative of time, money, and togetherness. And, we just want to express our deep gratitude to all of you that have kept our business (The Soap Shed and Cross Cut Woodworking) going. Online orders, porch pick ups, taking the time and effort to shop small and shop local....we are truly humbled. Thank you for enjoying our products and allowing us to be part of your home!! ~J.R., Katrina, Jennifer, Sarah, and Liza Smith

Our other December birthday gal had such a great time this summer hatching and raising butterflies, so that's what her Dad put on her special keepsake box. Liza absolutely loves it and will cherish it forever!!

This was such a special gift! The idea of taking a piece of this very memorable tree and turning it into something completely functional is beautiful! And JR was honored to do this for them. Thank you for allowing him to create your idea!
