My nerves won’t let me sleep .... Tonight, Jan. 31st, 6pm - 8pm, we are hosting what feels to me, one of the biggest programs in this virtual environment. "A ...Dream of Kuponya/Kikeokan: Black and Native American Healing" is not only the opening of Black History Month here at Rutgers University, but also a lifting of Native American communities. We will come together to discuss how both Black and Native American communities practice healing from experiencing structural violence while fighting for peace + solidarity. Y'all, the President of Rutgers, Dr. Jonathan Holloway, the philosopher, author, activist himself, Dr. Cornel West, Justice of the Tribal Supreme Court for Nanticoke Lenni-Lenape Nation, Reverend Dr. John R. Norwood, alongside our Senior Vice President of Equity across all 3 Rutgers campuses, Dr. Enobong Anna Branch will be our featured guest!!!!!!! With nearly 500 registrants from across the country, you don't want to miss this. LAST CALL to register. #FREE and open to ALL: http://go.rutgers.edu/healing #Rutgers #RutgersPride #RCommunity #WeRUnited #NativeAmerican #AllBlackLivesMatter
