For 2pm Sunday, January 10 ... Lots of info in this post and its comments .... Other than being prepared with normal hiking essentials and being dressed for the weather, YOU CAN JUST SHOW UP. .... But if you want to prepare more ... I have added waypoints for temporary geocaches to my Rock Man Enough cache. To prepare for Sunday, you can download the free geocaching app, create a free account, and search for that geocache. Then you will see the waypoints. At the moment (Saturday before lunch), there are no containers or tags to search for because the Chestnut Grove people allow only temporary caches for scouting activities. No meeting tonight - Tuesday, Jan. 5. CoVid numbers are still high. However, we are planning a hike at Chestnut Grove on Sunday, January 10 at 2pm. More later on that. In the meantime, maybe check out this interactive fall mural. I haven't gone through all of it. Tap at red dots on the screen. We got together for a hike in Blue Rock Park today after reviewing the 6 Cub Scout Hiking Essentials, the Outdoor Code, and Leave No Trace. That let us wrap up Tigers in the Wild. The trail was nicely snowy, but we were prepared. We saw a bald eagle as we crossed the bridge, noticed sycamore trees and various animal tracks, and discovered small winter stoneflies. http://bugoftheweek.com//winter-stoneflies-families-taenio

We are currently taking a break from in-person meetings to spend time with our families. We have hiking ideas. We have plans to talk with our families about their favorite memories. We are working on CyberChip. We plan to try to meet again on Tuesday, December 8th. Be safe out there. Maybe try this hike.

We are having fun learning about stuff that prepares us for life. Tuesdays 6:30-7:30pm

We are meeting Tuesdays 6:30-7:30pm in the parking lot of Millersville Community Church - Grace campus (Frederick Street headed west out of Millersville). We are wearing masks so that we can sometimes get closer. We can go inside when we absolutely must, but outside is better for now. Check your health status before you visit scouts.
