Officers and members would like to congratulate Chief Harry Dillman III and Deputy Chief Morgan Dillman on their wedding yesterday 10/16/2020. Thank you to Goodwill Fire Company 77 and Parkside Fire Company 45 for covering Chester Townships local while members attended the wedding.

Members tonight for drill went over SCBA (self contained breathing apparatus) inspecting the pack, cylinder, and mask. Then practiced dawning and doffing. Then members went to Richman's ice cream from a treat

Duty Engine 47 responding to East 10th St in Marcus Hook for natural gas leak outside. Duty Engine responded to two other calls, one in Aston and another in Marcus Hook
Tonight, Station 47 was in service as the district duty engine. Crews performed apparatus and equipment checks. Then squad and rescue went for a little ride. Thank you to Richman’s Located in the first district’s local for the treats. Duty 47 did not have any calls.

The Officers and Members of the Chester Township Fire Company are saddened to announce the death of Honorary Member, Stanley R. Kester. Stan joined the Felton Hose & Chemical Co. No. 1 on March 10th, 1954, and became an honorary member on 09/01/1974 after serving 20 years of active service. He was a member of the Delaware County Fireman’s Association, joining in 1957. ... During his years of service, he served as Treasurer for the company, and the Chester Township Fireman’s Relief Association. Stan was a member of the Board of Directors for the Company, as well as Chairman of the BINGO Committee for many years. Stan served on the Board of Supervisors for the Township of Chester and was also a State Representative in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives.
