Got a case of the Mondays? We have a cure for that. Order TAKEOUT or DELIVERY on any MONDAY in MARCH and we’ll throw in a jar of our signature MANGO BUTTER (requires a direct order from our website and min purchase of $25)!
Cuba Libre Atlantic City was recently featured by @BoardwalkAcura! Our AC location is a great chance for a little getaway weekend from Philly. Read the full article here: http://bit.ly/3b8CRY9
Have you had our Camarones Enchilados? Jumbo shrimp hand peeled and bathed in a savory tomato based Cuban sofrito (onions, garlic, green peppers + culantro) sauce. Not to be confused with Mexican Enchiladas, both delicious but both very different dishes. If you haven’t had a chance to try it, we’ve got it available for Dine-in, Takeout and Delivery.
Are you a fan of our Ybor City style Cubano Sandwich? Exec Chef Faustino puts in the work EVERY SINGLE DAY. The pork loin is marinated and roasted in house for each sandwich just for you. It travels well for TAKEOUT and DELIVERY. PRO-TIP: Get a couple extra. They heat up well and are the perfect snow day meal.
Philly has always been known as the city of great BYOBs but now that phrase has been corrupted by COVID (like almost everything else ). Blankets available for sale for at Cuba Libre for those wanting to dine outside that may not have planned ahead for the dipping temperatures. We have heaters coming in soon but until they arrive - Bring Your Own Blanket. https://bit.ly/2XEHf9W
October 10th is Cuban Independence Day and for this week's Foodie Friday Comedian Michelle Tomko just happens to be at Cuba Libre Restaurant & Rum Bar (translat...ion Free Cuba) where she heads back in the kitchen with Chef Kevin Couch to learn a saucing secret connected with a famous chicken dish. She's also diving into freshly made cocktails with a unique twist and shares a trade secret (watch to the end ). #TheThreadSJ #FoodieFriday #CubaLibreAtlanticCIty #Tropicana See more
Are you rum-curious? Rum can be every bit as sophisticated as whiskey. Depending on how they’re aged and what casks are used - different flavors are imparted and the end result can be astounding. We stock 90+ varieties at our bar and take pride in sharing all our knowledge with our guests. We have rum flights curated and ready for you to sip and taste or we can custom create a flight. Just ask! https://bit.ly/2XEHf9W
Happy Hispanic Heritage Month. It’s fall and the perfect time to celebrate one of Cuba’s national dishes - Ropa Vieja. It’s a comforting stew-like dish typically made of braised shredded beef in an aromatic tomato, onion and peppers based broth often served with white rice. A popular dish and eaten around the world in Spain, Puerto Rico and even as far as the Philippines. A recipe for it was recently highlighted by @NYTcooking writer @kenjilopezalt. If you’re not up for making your own - Ropa has been a staple on our menu since day one. https://bit.ly/2XEHf9W
Our Barrio Chino Chicken Wings pays homage to the long history of Chinese diaspora that settled in Cuba starting in 1847. They were brought over to work the sugar cane fields and many settled in and around Barrio Chino de La Habana, the Chinatown in Havana, creating one of the oldest and largest in Latin America. Before fusion cuisine became a trend, Chinese cooking techniques and flavors were naturally incorporated into the Cuban culinary scene which are still present today. https://bit.ly/2XEHf9W
Did you know there’s a parking deal happening now through November 30 only $7 flat-rate after 5 p.m. (for up to 4 hrs) at the PPA Autopark at Olde City (125 S 2nd St - just a block south of Cuba Libre). Now you have no reason not to let us transport you to Havana for the evening. Check out our website and choose the seating location that best suits your needs - we have INDOOR and OUTDOOR seating. Please note that our heaters are still on their way so if you’re planning on dining outdoors, please remember to dress accordingly as the temperature starts to drop. Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with our new Comida Tradicional Menu designed for two. It starts with three appetizers - Pineapple Guacamole Cubano, Black Bean Soup + Camerones Enchilados. Next up is a large share plate of our Cuban Roast Pork over a bed of boniato mash all drizzled with a caper onion mojo. This pork shank has been lovingly marinated and then slowly braised for hours until tender and flash fried to get the crunchy texture of chicharones. To end things on a sweet note, the table is served their choice of two desserts - featured here is the Cuban Flan and Churros Con Chocolate. All the hard decisions have been made for you - Chef chose some of our best dishes when curating this dinner. ¡Provecho! https://bit.ly/2GJb3wM

Fall is here and October is Hispanic Heritage Month. Celebrate with us! Come in and try one of our most traditional dishes - Arroz con Pollo (Rice and Chicken or + ). On Sundays this hearty and soul satisfying dish can be found at the dinner table for many Cuban families much like a slow cooked ragu is often featured for Italian Sunday suppers.
