Awesome New Year's Eve at Phoebe Ministries at the Terrace where residents enjoyed Surf and turf (filet of beef tenderloin and shrimp) with garlic hollandaise seasoned asparagus or chicken francaise. Twice baked potato, crab stuffed haddock with rice pilaf and green beans were also served! And for dessert, Chef Dennis prepared chocolate flourless truffle cake with almond vanilla anglaise! We don't let COVID get us down. Lutheran SeniorLife at the Passavant does it again with holiday baking traditions! Over two dozen dining staff members spent the past month baking more than 4,500 cookies from their favorite family recipes. Macayla Traverso-Bloom and Caitlin Stitch (cookies 3), Chef Greg Fried and baker Jessica Headrick, and Zoie Hamilton, Chloe Sturgeon, Emily Kaelin and Alison Neiderlander (boxing cookies 2), along with a dozen other staff spent two days boxing and organizing the cookies to be personally delivered to each resident! The staff also coordinated Christmas carolers, holiday video greetings including The 12 Days of Dining spoof, and an outdoor holiday parade to bring more holiday cheer to Passavant’s campus! Great job team. Elior North America #togethersaferstronger
