Curious Kids Cuisine

Time to make the pizza!! On our last day of camp the children made their own pizza dough and sauce!! We also took a little time to decorate some cupcakes! All smiles today!! Enjoy the rest of summer!!

I want to express my sincerest thanks to Alyssa and Kelly for all of their hard work at camp this summer! Alyssa, we never had to look for a thing, you kept us on track and on time! You are an awesome kitchen manager and I’m so happy you joined the team! Kelly, you are a wealth of knowledge, you add so much to what the children are learning and your joy of cooking shines as bright as your smile! I would also like to thank Fr. Today we made marinara sauce and homemade pasta! The kids all worked so hard.The end result was delicious We ended our day with homemade "jello" cookies. These campers deserve a round of applause!

Today we had a Mexican fiesta! SUPER NACHOS! We started by making pico de gallo, next we made our beef and bean topping and then a yummy cheese sauce! Of course we had to add a dessert so Churros was the grand finale!!! I think they enjoyed it, what do you think?

WOW! What a day! We made our own pie crust and banana cream filling for our banana cream pies! Next we made homemade macaroni and cheese! You should have seen them eat today!!

Restaurant Classics is off to a good start! Today we made twice baked potatoes, chicken fingers and brownies.
