Donald George Batman Steltz, age 81 of Sweet Valley, passed away Friday, November 27, 2020 at the Meadows Nursing Center, Dallas. He was born in Wilkes-Barre, PA on April 5, 1939 and was the son of the late George, Jr. and Dorothy Hackling Steltz. Donald graduated from Lake Noxen High School, Class of 1957. He then married his wife, the former Judith Evans on March 14, 1958. He served in the US Army and retired from the IBEW Local Union 163, Wilkes-Barre. Donald was a memb...er of the Rattlesnake Rod and Gun Club and was an avid outdoorsman and beloved family member. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, the former Judith Evans; son, Steven Steltz and wife Bethann and George Steltz and his former wife, Karen Sue Steltz; 5 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are by the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc., corner of routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek. Charlotte Y. Nociasta, age 85 of Hunlock Creek, passed away November 27, 2020 at the Bonham’s Nursing Center, Stillwater, with her family by her side. She was born in Berwick on November 9, 1935, and was the daughter of the late Charles and Eva Kishbaugh McGraw... Charlotte graduated from the Philadelphia School for the deaf. She enjoyed cooking, crocheting, working in the flower garden, birdwatching, and tending to her houseplants. She loved her family and church at the Emmanuel Assembly of God, Harveys Lake. In addition to her parents, Charlotte is preceded in death by brother, Carl McGraw; sister, Thelma Jennings; grandchild, Justine Martin and sister, Anna Mae Lennox. She is survived by son, Ralph Nociasta and wife Jennifer, Ross Township; daughters, Pamela Hunsinger and husband Glen Sr., Bloomsburg, and Pauline Kenzakoski and husband Charles, Bear Creek; brother, Charles McGraw, Berwick; 9 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 3, 2020 at 1:00 PM from the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc., corner of routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek, with Pastor Randy L. Boston of the Bible Baptist Church, Shickshinny, officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 1:00 PM prior to the service at the funeral home on Thursday. Diana K. Kovalick, 75, of Noxen passed away on November 27, 2020 at Geisinger Wyoming Valley after a lengthy battle with Covid 19. Born in Tunkhannock on September 16, 1945, she was the daughter of Mildred E Vieczorek. She was a 1963 graduate of Tunkhannock Area High School. She married the love of her life, Charles J. Kovalick on August 14, 1965. They spent a very blessed 55 years together as each other's best friend & soulmates. Diana is a member of the United Methodist Chu...rch in Noxen. Recently she had been attending the Northmoreland Baptist Church in Centermoreland. Diana got to spend her life as her husband's soulmate. She was also best friends with her mother Millie, her adopted daughter Kimberly & son-in-law, Wesley. Diana had the pleasure to be called "Grammy" by 2 beautiful foster grandbabies, they were her heart. She was a dear friend to all of her brothers; Judson, Reggie, Ronnie, John & Stevie. She loved life and lived it fully. She had the kindest heart and always took care of others. Diana and her family had a fun time no matter where they were or what they were doing. She was loved by all those who knew her and will be dearly missed. Diana is preceded in death by stepfather Steven S. Vieczorek, mother in law Viola M. Visneski, Brothers Steven D. Vieczorek & John E. Vieczorek, Brother-in-laws Chet Visneski, John A Kovalick and his wife Barb, Nephews Randall Vieczorek, John Weber, Kristopher Visneski and Niece Ronalee Visneski. Diana is survived by her mother Mildred E Vieczorek. She is survived by her husband Charles J Kovalick, her daughter Kimberly A Atkinson & son in law Wesley B Atkinson. Her grandbabies "Cutie Pie" & "Mr Man!" Brothers; Judson Vieczorek, Reggie Vieczorek, Ronald Vieczorek and his wife Sandy. Brother in laws; Ronald Visneski & Gene Visneski. Sister in laws; Betty Newell, Barbara Crispell and Marcia Visneski. Many nieces & nephews. Her many neighbors & friends which were family to her as well. She loved many & was loved by many. She will be dearly missed. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 1, 2020 at 11:00 AM from the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc., corner of routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek, with Pastor Kurt Seboe of the Northmoreland Baptist Church, officiating.
