Curves South Whitehall (Tilghman Square)

You are all invited to celebrate Holidays Christmas, New Years, and the 4th of July in the Bahamas. It's a Zumba party with Manuel on Dec 9th at 6pm. Our Curves Holiday party will be Dec 19th 6:30am until noon.

The 10:00 am is way out ahead again. It's clearly the hour of the day! Still, if I try hard enough to get some of the afternoon playing, and we get really lucky, we could at least look competitive. The afternoon encompasses more hours because it includes the evening. I'm not up at 6:30am but you do need 5 or 10 minutes to play. The game adds a few more exercises and encourges friendships.

Forgot to add. The 10:00am team won the last game. This game is more even, especially if you get stuck without your team and are willing to do a bunch of stuff. Then your team has a chance. I think the team wil the most attendance has the best chance of winning but with the free parking and the power companies, luck will matter.

New game going up. It's called Power. You'll need to come in until the end of November so that your team wins. We are beginning with the same teams as before. Add your name to one if you aren't on one. Your team will like the help. This game allows the members to share in the tasks.

The eye ball is the administrator? Kind of scary Carla. Game begins Monday or as soon as possible. I'll post pictures as soon as I get home. It's called concentration after the game concentration, except that your team mates can help each other. We lined up the teams according to what time they come in so that they can help each other. There's the 6:30am group, the 10:00 crowd and the big afternoon team. It's not too late to join a team.

We rocked Curves on Friday night and raised $702 for Families of SMA. Not bad for a great time. Lisa & Manuel were fabulous!

So, if you can't make it to the Zumba party on Friday, stop by and buy raffle tickets. I know you will win and if you don't you'll be contributing to a good cause.

We are getting some great raffle baskets in. Susie brought in a wine basket, Krista brought in booz and shoes. It's the big one everyone will want to win. C. Jane Bachman, CPA donated a brand new extra nice hula hoop that Valerie made, we have gift certificates, hair product from Modern Hair Design, Shirley is making her fudge and I'm certain I'm missing a big one since the whole table is full

We are looking for raffle basket donations for the SMA Zumba event on Sept 16. The more the better. None too small or big.

The Broadway Workout was unfortunately cancelled. Circuit will be open Monday evening. If 6 people come in we'll do a power workout.
