Dear Friends, I am writing this post with the purpose of notifying my friends that as of June 10, 2016, I will be departing from my business @ The Cutting Edge Hair Salon... As my new chapter begins in sunny Florida, I look forward to my new career path and the adventure that awaits us! This is not a goodbye, this is a Thank You! Thank you for coming into my life and giving me joy, Thank You for all who showed me love to myself & family. Thank you for the memories I will che...rish forever! But most of all,Thank You for showing me that this guy was able to open a hair salon business with a chair & scissors & make a amazing 15 year journey! There is never a perfect time in life to say goodbye to something amazing as this but to say Thank You to all for coming into my life & I hope you enjoyed the ride as much as I have! BEST hair conditioner treatment: Whipped Avocado, Olive Oil and Honey Hair Mask Makes enough for my thick, shoulder-length hair (double it for longer hair)... Ingredients 1 ripe avocado, pitted and scooped out 2 tablespoons olive oil 2 tablespoons honey 2-3 drops lavender essential oil (optional) Tools Bowl and hand-mixer or stand-mixer Hair clip (for longer hair) Shower cap A sunny day Directions In a small mixing bowl or the bowl of a stand mixer, add in the avocado, olive oil, honey and essential oil ( optional). Whip on high until light in color and smooth. Dampen hair with water. Spread mask onto hair, paying particular attention to the ends (feel free to rub it in a bit). Clip your hair onto the top of your head, cover with shower cap, & sitting in the sun for 30-45 minutes.( or apply heat optional) Remove shower cap, rinse out mask, and then wash and condition hair as usual. BAM! Shiny & Frizz free hair!
