I got some Mississippi River Blues tonight, listening to Louis Armstrong blow on horn, thinking of Erin's spicy etouffee', red beans with ham bone and kielbasa (from Hollenbaughs), spicy chicken gumbo with andouille sausage, and lightly fried catfish with collard greens (wow to the wower). All I can tell you is to hold on to your hats and bellies, cause we are going to be bringing it. More fresh fish, more authentic mexican, more Italian, more of your comfort favorites. More great foods to get us all through this damn covid crush. "i gots to blow this horn" says Louis, "cause I got the Basin Street blues". Holy jambalaya batman! Thanks so much for the support tonight.......amazing. We also appreciate all the gift certificate sales....wowser. Tomorrow we will be open at noon instead of 11 am. Our blue plates will be prime rib au jus, pork loin with stuffing and homemade gravy, catfish, shrimp and fish platter, and hot sausage sandwich. If you haven't tried a Cuban, plan on it soon.......an awesome sammie. Of course we'll also have our popular Port Farm Beef burgers and regular menu available.
