My first ever palette knife cake that I wouldn’t recommend for those with A-Type personalities . I kid I kid. Once I got over the initial shock of a random blue blob on my perfectly iced white cake, I decided just to go for it. The more I layered colors, the better I got and I started getting more comfortable in trusting myself! (Sometimes that’s hard to do because I want every client to LOVE their cake so I put a lot of pressure on myself! ) Annnnnyway, here they ar...e! Edgy, artsy, and creative was just what my client wanted The cutting cake was an 8, 3 layer French vanilla base with crushed Oreos and rainbow jimmies, iced in my signature buttercream. Our first ever Cake Academy class was a huge success!! The kids had such a blast and all of them did AMAZING!! Hello . There are lots of new faces here so I thought I’d introduce myself again! I am Danielle, a married mom of two boys, and I grew up right here in Plymouth! I started this page in 2014 and wow what a ride it’s been. I’ve truly grown up with this business and have loved every minute of it and all of the incredible people I have met along the way. I miss the days of going to cake shows in Miami (wow that was SO fun!) and traveling with my awesome cake sisters all over ...the country! Hopefully we can do it again soon bc those are some fun times. If you are new here, my claim to fame back in the day was creating cakepops. These were something crazy. I used to spend so many hours on those babies but I truly enjoyed it. (They are still posted so scroll wayyyyyyy back lol). Over time I started to play around with cakes and quickly fell in love with it! All of my cakes are iced in my signature buttercream and can have fondant detail if your theme requires. . Our first virtual Cake Academy was so much fun and I’m already writing up my next one! (Yes I will have something for our younger friends as one comment asked ) That’s about it!
