AVIATORS - - If you are aviation or have spent any amount of time in/on/around a helicopter/plane you know this smell... 88% of our respondents in our researc...h stated they were exposed to JP-8 fuels, another exposure (often overlooked) is tent/generator smoke! More likely than not, those generators are using diesel or JP-4/8. - - We also asked 'how many hours per week were you/are you around military aircrafts", 13% stated 7-12 hours while 8% stated 72+ hours, this specific population is at risk for "increased macrophage production and interstitial edema" causing respiratory septial thickening r/t chronic inflammation and fibrosis... so what does that mean?
