Hello, 15 new fans from today! Who sent you?? :)

My story is making rounds on the Internet again - thanks to all the fans, new and old; however if I can just add one note in there... ...So, this story was written two years ago now. I've been writing since then, actually scored legitimate work as a horror author and I'm continuing to write to this day. However, reading through some of the comments on my story have prompted this. I've gotten called lousy, sick, unprofessional, the whole nine yards for my work. I simply ignore... it, of course, and continue to do what I do best but keep in mind that this story stems from my days of first utilizing short horror story writing. I did not intend for it to blow up like it did (that doesn't mean I'm not appreciative) but I was just starting to work for Thought Catalog and it came as a surprise when I started hearing from people about my work because even I knew this isn't my best. My second thought is the fact that my work has morphed quite a bit and I have been thinking up the best ways to approach a full-length novel packed full of new short stories. Every author grows as they continue to write. Thank you for all who have stood by me on my journey, and I will only continue to grow past what many people have criticized - but in my heart, I'll remain Maggie!
