Hello everyone, I'm sure you are waiting for what is happening on the fairgrounds the week of Aug 17th through 22nd. We are finalizing schedules and should have info early next week. Things as you are aware are changing daily. Harvest Community Church has offered to continue with the christian concert, Building 429. They will be performing July 24th at the Harvest Community Church Jamboree held at the fairgrounds. Tickets and info are found at harvestpa.org This is now a Harvest event, all questions will be answered on their website. We want to thank the sponsors who continue to support the concerts! Harvest will follow CDC guidelines,we will provide social distancing for the concert! This is short notice for the concert, it is only two weeks away!

Good morning fair friends, we are getting feedback about the confusing post we put on this week. That is understandable. Hopefully this can clear that up. First, we misspelled Donna Oberlander's name and email, [email protected] the representatives and senators are friends of the fair, treat them as that when you email. Second, THERE IS NO DAYTON FAIR. What we the board of managers has chose to do, is allow some events take place on the fairgrounds. There are certain th...ings that can happen, livestock shows put on independently, horse shows, put on independently, and food venders. We will follow all CDC guidelines, we will social distance, we will temp check, provide handwash stations, follow mask guidelines, we will position food venders in a way that no group of people are gathered in a area exceeding guidelines. This will take place the week of August 17-22nd. We are unable to say how many days this will be in that week. Please understand the difficult decision to cancel was 3 days ago. There is alot to do before we can announce with clarity a schedule. There will be no admission fee to enter the fairgrounds to support the shows and food venders. Expect more answers early next week. The following letter states the issues with having the fair, the restrictions are too many to deal with, along with insurance and crowd numbers allowed, this is what will has been scheduled since the following letter was drafted. There will be a Armstrong County livestock show and sale, There also will be food vendors, this will be a monday through thursday. No admission fee to enter the grounds to get fair food, we will post additional info as we get it, possibly a fall demo in the fall. The Building 429 concert has been moved to July 24th becoming part of Harvest Community Church Jamboree event. As things change, which happens daily, it will post here.

Hi everyone, we are receiving a lot of questions which we honestly are not able to answer. Obviously we would like to see a Dayton Fair, and I'm sure you have seen several cancel. When we find anything out that is accurate info, we will post that here. Until then, stay safe!

We can not set that date, because we have no clue when anything will reopen. Hold your tickets, as for other events at the fairgrounds, as changes need to be made, we will post it here. Good morning everyone, after much discussion, we are going to continue with removal of campers, boats, and other storage items this saturday starting at 8, as you are aware the buildings are well ventilated and at no time is there close contact with others. Please be there on time so it goes quickly. We also have canceled any thought of a demo meeting . For 2020, the demo rules will remain unchanged.we felt that was a step we needed to take with the virus issues. Contine to follow this page for any additional updates.
