Today we were able to participate in Shop with a Cop at the Delmont Walmart. Officer Keffer enjoyed spending time with the kids.

We just received word that in our efforts with holding the food drive yesterday we were able to donate 1,644 pounds of non-perishable goods as well as $1,140 in donations. Thank you to all the volunteers and everyone who stopped by and donated.
Stop on out at 30 Berier St and help support the Westmoreland County Food Bank. Any donation is greatly appreciated.

We would like to take this time to send out a THANK YOU to the Delmont Library, numerous businesses and residents of Delmont Borough for their efforts in showing support to us. Yesterday's event showed how lucky we are to work for such a great community. Once again Thank you for everything, the food, snacks, small gifts and cards are very much appreciated.

UPDATE...Male has been identified. Thank you for your assistance. On August 24 2020 at 615am the male in this photo attempted to use a counterfeit$20.00 bill at the Delmont Sunoco. Anyone with information regarding his identity is asked to contact the Delmont Borough Police Department at 724-468-8501

Traffic alert Please use caution while traveling on State Route 66 North just before the W Pittsburgh St intersection. A part of the roadway has buckled, traffic cones and signs were put in place by Penndot. We will update you as we learn any new information.
Quick reminder to all residents of the State Fireworks Law. You CANNOT ignite fireworks within 150 feet of a house or occupied structure, regardless if the structure is occupied or not. Also, you CANNOT be under the influence of alcohol or drugs while igniting fireworks. If residents have any concerns regarding this matter please feel free to stop at the police station and dial the non emergency number posted on the door if and officer is not at the station. Our door is always open for questions and concerns from our residents.

**ATTENTION** EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY Please be advised the department will be conducting normal patrols and respond to all emergency calls throughout the Borough.... The Delmont Borough Police Department will be temporarily modifying daily operations. - Emergency calls: officers will respond to all emergency calls where a person or property is in immediate danager. The officer will arrive on scene and handle the call in the appropriate manner. Please advise the officer on scene if you or anyone within your home and or business has been affected by the Corona virus (CoVid 19). -Non Emergency Calls: (fraud, thefts, property damage, previous crimes not currently occurring) officers will be handling by phone in effort to limit contact. Residents, visitors and motorists are to call 911 for a request of service as they normally would if the request is appropriate for a telephone response officers will contact you via telephone. - We are discouraging walk in complaints to the police station; please dial 911. - Driver issued warnings by the Delmont Borough Police Department for equipment violations etc... to show that the item was correct please contact 724-836-1551 an officer will be dispatched back to the station. Please remain in your vehicle; the officer will then conduct the vehcile check. - We are temporarily suspending the use of our drug drop off box and employment finger printing. Chief Klobucar
March 1st 2020 members of the Salem Lutheran Church participated in ALICE training and Stop The Bleed Training. Officer Stull does a fantastic job with class room and practical application. We would like to thank the Salem Lutheran Church for hosting the training.
